I wish I’d been told (5)

Just put them in the outfit! You may buy/get bought so many lovely outfits. Like me, you may be thinking, or have thought, let’s keep that one for a special occasion… then before you know it, they’ve grown out of it! See every day as a special occasion, put them in the outfits you love - you won’t regret seeing them in it over and over, but I can guarantee you will regret that they didn’t get enough wears out of it!

I wish I’d been told (4)

Just thought I’d share some apps/clubs that have helped me out, incase they help anyone else too 😌 šŸ¤Ž  Emma’s Diary - if you sign up you get weekly advice linked to the stage of your pregnancy, if your little ones age, when they’re here. You can also get freebies too from Boots, with the Emma’s Diary app. One pack contained nappies (the perfect size and amount to pop in your hospital bag) and a travel size Sudocream and Bepanthem (helpful for your nappy changing bag).  šŸ¤Ž Pampers app - we’re 4 months in and I haven’t yet paid full price for a pack of Pampers nappies! My husband downloaded it too so that we could take full advantage of the initial free codes. Don’t get me wrong, it is an...

I decided instead that I’d keep a log in the notes on my phone of highlights from each month. I add to it as and when I can (usually during a late night feed) and don’t put too much pressure on it. For me, it’s been an easy, and beautiful, way so far to document highlights of each month. I find it nicer too because you go by what’s unique to your little one, rather than feeling bad if they haven’t yet hit a certain milestone in a book. I send the update out with a couple of photos to our family each month (sometimes on the exact day, sometimes a few days, o...
