I wish I’d been told (4)
Just thought I’d share some apps/clubs that have helped me out, incase they help anyone else too 😌
🤎 Pampers app - we’re 4 months in and I haven’t yet paid full price for a pack of Pampers nappies! You initially get a £6off code when you first sign up and then all you do is scan the code inside each nappy pack you buy and it adds on points which quite quickly equate to coupons (we usually can save enough points to get another £6off coupon before needing to buy the next pack of nappies). My husband downloaded it too so that we could take full advantage of the initial free codes. Don’t get me wrong, it is an extra thing to do but as we unpack all nappies into a caddy/storage to make them easily accessible, it really isn’t that tricky to remember.
🤎 Pregnancy + app - This was the best app to have throughout pregnancy. It’s free and provides you with updates linked to your stage of pregnancy so you have an idea of what you may be able to expect at that stage. It also has helpful, short articles to read for advice postpartum.
🤎 Baby + app - I use this to track feeds, nappy changes and sometimes sleeps. I know there are lots of apps out there for this but I found this one easiest to use (I did try others) as I was already used to the pregnancy+ app. It’s completely free and similarly to the pregnancy+ app, provides helpful, short articles to read.
🤎 BackThen - This app allows you to keep all your photos of your bub in one place and share it with those you want to. A little bit like a baby Instagram, but more private.
🤎 Marks and Spencer - the parent hood club - you get 10% off babygrows for a year, other discounts that they have on at the time and free cake when you buy a hot drink on a Tuesday morning. They host little parent meets ups each Tuesday at selected branches too.
🤎 Boots - parenting club - you get free gifts, discounts and extra points for baby products.
